What is Consignment?
Unlike resale stores who buy your clothes outright, we CONSIGN all our clothing, and pay monthly based on what sells. Consignors are paid 40% of the sales price. Items are active for 60-90 days before they are donated. (We donate to women’s shelters). High end items like designer purses, coats, etc. are returned if they do not sell, but we ask that day-to day clothing be subject to donation.
Consignments at Just Between Us are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and should be made via PHONE (512-250-0746) during normal business hours.
Clothes should be seasonally appropriate, current styles (purchased within last two years), freshly laundered ON HANGERS, and ready to sell (no missing buttons, rips, tears, smells or stains.) We only consign WOMEN’S clothing (sizes 00 to 2X). Purses must be cleaned inside and out. Shoes and boots should be cleaned/polished.
Consignments are limited to 25 items. (5 items minimum, please.)
Payments need to picked up in person at the store.
Consignment is a relationship, not just business and we take excellent care of our consignors, who are the lifeblood of our store. We want you to get the most money you can for your items, while still offering some of the most well-known bargains in all of Austin.
